*It's Madison Square Garden, with Rampage just about a day away, and Eddy Guerrero is backstage prepping himself. Wearing black Adidas pants with two stripes down the sides and a white tank top, he is doing sit-ups on the floor. Chavo, wearing a nice dark blue suit and his wireframe glasses, seems infuriated.*
Chavo: Eddy, you DO realize that if you lose out there, I have NO loopholes to get that title back to the Fatal Army! We can't have a half-assed performance out there, man! I...I just can't believe it.
Eddy: What?
Chavo: Ever since I started wrestling, ever since I can REMEMBER, you TOLD me to fight for what I want, to knock out whoever stood in my way. And I HAVE. I've done it well. I'm managing the damned FTR CHAMP because of that. You, on the other hand, are throwing said title away! You can't be fighting these people left and right! Sit on your laurels! Remember the old school FTR champs? They'd defend from PPV to PPV-and we called their reigns DYNASTIES! If you don't beat RVD tomorrowt, you'll be a forgotten champ!
Eddy: Jeez, RELAX ese, relax. I've got it under control.
Chavo: UNDER CONTROL?!?! *pacing wildly* Yeah, GREAT, let's just have it under control like LAST WEEK! You tricked the damn guy and he STILL about beat you!
Eddy: About is the key word. That was his environment. This is mine.
Chavo: Yeah, like RVD's NEVER fought in a fucking LADDER MATCH!
Eddy: *stopping, now sitting and staring at Chavo* Dude, it's my title, not yours. I know what I'm doing. If I lose, it hurts me.
Chavo: If you lose, it hurts the ARMY.
Eddy: No, it hurts ME. This is a SINGLES title. I'm not running my belt defenses by anyone. I am the MOTHERFUCKING champ, Chavo, and I'm not listening to this shit anymore. Did Undertaker want you to do this or something?
Chavo: ...no, it's just-
Eddy: "It's just" that you wanted to keep the bigger paycheck? Isn't it? Listen, you won't be out there. The Fatal Army won't be out there. You know who will?
I'll be out there. This is about me and RVD. This is me proving that I AM the best damn singles wrestler in the FTR. And if I have to beat RVD again for you, or IQ, or anyone else to believe me, I will. By this time tomorrow, I will OWN the FTR's respect. I will BE the most feared person in the fed.
