Press Conference (Tag Team Tournament)

(The scene is the lobby of GeniusIQ Industries in Baltimore, MD. A podium is set up in front of a screen, and there are multiple representatives from the press present. As the crowd calms down, GeniusIQ enters with The Dudley Boys, Sign Guy Dudley, Joel Gertner, and Bloodsport close behind. IQ steps up to the podium and calls for quiet.)
IQ: Ladies and gentlemen of the press, I'm sure you are all curious why I've called you here. As most of you are aware, the FTR Tag Team titles, last held by The Dudley Boyz, were vacated upon the Rebirth of the FTR. This was done because no one could get in contact with The Dudleys. We have since discovered that there was a communications breakdown...
(IQ glares at Joel Gertner.)
IQ: ...with The Dudleys' managerial staff. However, a tournament for the tag team titles had already been announced when this was realized. As such, The Dudley Boyz will not be given back the titles, but will be given a bye to the semi-final round of the FTR Tag Team Championship Tourna...
(Buh Buh and D-Von step up behind IQ and look at him threateningly.)
IQ: Excuse me, I mean the FTR Big Dick Dudley Memorial Tag Team Championship Tournament.
(Buh Buh and D-Von relax.)
IQ: Now, as you are all aware, we recently lost a close member of The Family. Big Dick Dudley was one of the nicest people you could now, if you were Family. As such, we have dedicated this tournament to his memory, and are pleased to have his half-brothers, Buh Buh Ray and D-Von, competing in it. Now, before we continue, I am sure everyone is curious to see the brackets for the tournament...
IQ: ...as you can see, thirteen teams are entered in the tournament. Three brackets contain four teams each, and the last bracket contains just The Dudley Boyz, who as the former champions have earned a bye to the semi-finals. Now, the first round of the tournament will commence at Rampage on January 18th. The second round will commence at the Rampage following that on February 3rd. The Semi-Finals and the Final match will commence at the FTR's first Pay-Per-View of the Rebirth Era, FTR Genesis coming to you live from the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan on February 24th, coincidentally, my birthday. Now, before I finish, I want to take this opportunity to immortalize Big Dick Dudley.
(IQ presses a button on the podium and the screen on which the bracket was shown retracts into the ceiling. Behind the screen a huge portrait, spanning from the 30 foot high ceiling all the way to the lush carpeting below, is shown. The portrait is of Big Dick Dudley. He is wearing a tie-die shirt, jeans, glasses and a bowtie.)
IQ: This portrait will forever stand here, honoring the memory of one of the biggest men in The Family. Now let us have a moment of silence for Big Dick Dudley, and then you are all dismissed.
(The camera zooms in on the portrait as everyone bows their head in silence, and we fade to black.)
