A long time coming...

We open a dark room. It appears to be a room full of hooks hanging down chains, and looks to be very ominous. In the background, we can see a figure walking around. He nears a better lit area of the room, and is easily identfiable as Mortis.

Mortis: "It's been so long, Billy.....too long. And at Rampage, it all comes to a head. At Rampage, I will have my REDEMPTION.

"You see Billy, I've sat back and I've watched you be favored over me for TOO long. Where were you when The Undertaker was first coming into the FTR?! Where were you when I was beating up Edge every week?! Where were you when Taker and I were fighting the Dudleys?! You were playing the role of some kind of pouty teenager with a rash. You were either a flunky of Raven, or a complete and total loser.

"The Undertaker liked you, and he recruited you. I didn't say anything, Billy. I didn't question his reasoning. It was assumed that I would be The Undertaker's protege...but apparently he saw things differently. I mean, I lost a few matches....so I guess I could understand.

"And you got EVERYTHING. He put you in the position to be the WORLD CHAMPION. And YOU WALKED OUT ON IT! He made you the CHAMPION, Billy.

"Do you realize that the ONLY FTR gold I've EVER held was the tag straps WITH Taker? I was never treated like you were. I would have KILLED to have been in your shoes, Billy. I STRIVED to be in your shoes. And when I watched you just walk out of the Army..it made me sick!

"Who the hell do you think you are Billy?! How can you treat The Undertaker with such disrespect? The man MADE you. He put you ahead of ME, dammit! I sacrificed EVERYTHING to be in The Army..and I was NEVER given the breaks that you were.

"But this time..things are going to be different. This time....I'm going to prove to The Undertaker you aren't worth SHIT. At Rampage, Billy....I'm going to take your United States Championship. In front of the world, I'm going to show The Undertaker who the better man is.

"And Billy.....I'm not going to be doing it for The Undertaker's sake."

Mortis pauses, reaches up..and for the first time in the FTR...pulls his mask off.

"I'm going to be doing it for me."

Fade to black.
