It is said that a man chooses his own destiny. However, few men are capable of such a choice. They allow themselves to be led through life by higher powers, accepting a role provided to them and doing little to question it.
Billy Kidman is not one of those men.
In the past, he has followed the likes of Raven and The Undertaker. However, he has recently gone through his own revelations. It started when he declared that The Undertaker was not a god, and walked away from the stable that he helped create. It came to a head when he aligned himself with Jeff Jarrett, The Chosen One.
So now, fresh off of an incredibly decisive victory over The Fatal Army...Billy Kidman stands outside of a familiar area. Once again, Kidman is about to make an important choice.
The Undertaker has seemingly disappeared following the conclusion of Rampage. He promised a confrontation with Jeff Jarrett, quickly writing Kidman off. Those words are what brings the former Dark Child to The Undertaker's church on this day. Perhaps this is what they call fate.
Kidman stands outside for a moment, a look of determination on his face. He removes his trenchcoat and drops it on the ground...preparing himself to enter the building that has become the headquarters of The Lord of Darkness.
The ancient doors open with an ear piercing groan, and the young warrior steps into the church.
Inside, Kidman stares into the sanctuary. The only light is provided by the two torches in front of The Undertaker's throne. In the distance, a large figure can barely be made out. It speaks in a commanding voice.
