Forgotten, but not gone...

“But Lynne, I think they are holding me back.”

It’s the voice of FTR rookie, Bill Ding. He is in the locker room of an IQ Industries gym, and appears to have just completed a workout. He rubs a towel over his head to absorb the excess sweat.

Lynne: Oh hush, IQ is smart, I mean, look how rich he is! He knows what he’s doing.

Ding: Then why have I only had one match? Why, after I won that match, did they send me to a developmental territory?

Lynne: These things take time Bill! You can’t walk in and demand a title shot.

Ding: Yeah I can, I won that award.

Lynne: Ok, bad example. Still though, I’m sure IQ had a good reason for bumping you down. He’s still paying you, so what are you worried about?

Ding: What am I worried about? I’m worried about getting in the ring with top opponents. I’m worried about losing my spot. I’m worried I might not have a spot in a few months. Whatever it is I’m doing wrong, I need to fix right now, because as I see it, my career is in jeopardy.

Lynne: Oh drama, drama, drama. It’s always drama with you. Instead of worrying about silly matches, you need to worry about getting me some dangly silver earrings!

Ding: Enough about your damn dangly earrings…

Lynne: LANGUAGE!

Ding: Pretty soon I’m going to bring you some gold.

Lynne: Ewww, I hate gold.

Ding: You’ll like this gold. It’s the kind I wear around my waist.

Bill Ding walks off.

Lynne: But why would I want something you would wear…(Lynne pauses to think about it for a second) Oh, I get it!

Fade to black.
