We open in the dead of night, in a very familiar area.
A cemetery.
Among the infinite rows of tombstone walks The Undertaker. He stops...and stares off into the distance. He then begins to speak.
Undertaker: "Vader, you can quote prophecies all that you wish. You can bring back long forgotten warriors as many times as you wish. But you can't change facts, Vader. You can't deny reality.
The reality of the situation is quite simple, my friend....
The Fatal Army is the ultimate power in the FTR. We hold all of the cards, and there's not a damned thing you....Wrath....Meng....Jarrett.....or Kidman can do about it.
Build you army, Vader. Do just as you did before.....because the same fate awaits you. When the dust has cleared, I will once again unmask you for the pretender..and the coward that you truly are.
And as for you, Kidman....you can't flee from your destiny. It shall await you at Rampage, my child...and it shall strike you down."
The Undertaker walks onward, towards a tombstone where a figure is sitting...appearing to be in deep thought. The camera zooms in to reveal this person as Mortis.
Mortis: "Funny how you choose to bring up the past, Wrath.
"Let's look at the REAL story, shall we?
"In case you haven't been paying attention, James Vandenburg has always been aligned with The Undertaker. Don't you understand that? All of this..ALL OF THIS...has been leading up to this moment. Everything was planned years and years ago. Do you think that the Fatal Army just HAPPENED? Taker and Vandenburg were laying out the groundwork for this alliance years and years ago.
From day one, The Undertaker and The Sinister Minister planned to create an era of complete and utter dominance. Look at history, man! Who was one of The Undertaker's first targets?!

As The Undertaker took out McMahon's pathetic little company, The Minister began to seek allies. They knew that eventually a larger playing field would form...and they had to prepare.
Which is why The Sinister Minister worked for the WCW!!

Mortis gets up off of the tombstone, and walks away.
Undertaker: "Very soon...all of these petty battles shall unite..and become one, full-scale war.
I see it on the horizon....
And you can rest assured, that the Fatal Army does as well.
For here....one must leave behind all hesitation. Here....every cowardice must meet its death.
