Time for a change

After a break in FTR television showing the classic match between Shane Douglas and Al snow at WrestlePalooza, a camera what appears to be a skybox in an arena. Voices are heard. They are the voices of Shane Douglas and Lance Storm. Another angle now shows the two men. Shane in his yellow and black Franchise emblem tee shirt, black jeans and shoes sits across from Lance who is wearing black shoes, blue jeans and his infamous red Canadian Sensation tee shirt.

SD: You see that Lance? That was in ninety-eight. Before Paul held out on his cash.

Lance nods his head.

SD: that was when a true era of wrestling was in existence. I’m not just talking about ECW. Although I basically made that promotion. I’m talking about when the bullshit of today didn’t fly around hitting the walls. In that match versus Snow I had a fractured Pallet and spurs in my elbow.
That night I showed up in that fucking arena and gave it all I got. You know why? Because that’s the business. Weeks of advertising. Days of medical reports. Did I give a shit? No! I went on and put on one hell of a fucking match. That’s why ECW stayed around as long as it did until I left. When I left it got ran into the fucking ground because of one thing.

Lance. What’s that?

SD: politics. Who kisses whose fucking ass around here means more then drawing a fucking crowd! Take lil ole Mikey Hickenbottom for example and I know I said this a million fucking times.

Lance. Mikey Hickenbottom?

SD. Yea the crying little gender confused Heart Break Kid.

Lance is shown chuckling

SD. Because he hurt himself a little bit he didn’t want to wrestle in a then at the time intercontinental title match. So he talked to that cockhead McMahon and did a three second thought of a decision and handed me the belt. You know why? Because he is a pussy! And because I didn’t fit into that small little band of merry men called the click because they made me wrestle last call Scot Hall and gave him the fucking title that night. Fucking politics. Lance Im not going to fucking go on and on but you know where I am going with this. Take this match with Austin for example. What the fuck happen? I let it happen! Seven fucking seconds! A little fucking kick and a stunner. A three count. What the fuck! That’s bullshit! And both you and I have to wallow in the smell of it! Who goddamn ass did Austin have to lube up to have his way like that? Bullshit starts every damn day up from the head offices all the way down to that poor son of a bitch who scrubs shit out of every arenas toilet! I had to put up with it until now! I’m tired of all the crap. You and I know that. Believe it or not Lance in and out of the fucking ring I am feared! Because I open my fucking mouth! I do what people don’t want in this business! And that’s being a shoot! Shane Douglas is a fucking shoot! And will always be! Again.

Lance. Again?

Shane gets up from his chair with a small little grin on his face.

SD. Yep Lance. Again. You and me. And I know just how to fucking do it. Lance last week I looked at my phone book in my cell phone. You have the number in yours I believe. Let me have your phone for a second.

Lance is shown getting up from his chair. He opens up a pocket on what is seen as a fanny waist pack. Lance takes his cell phone out. Powers it up, and hands it to Shane. Shane seems to be pressing buttons on the phone. A ringing tone is heard. Someone answers.

Shane. Hey what’s up its Shane. I’m ok.

Lance looks on with a concern look on his face.

Shane. Remember a few years back when I was in the swing of thing? Yep. That’s it. Well, anyway. You introduced a small offer to me that I really didn’t look into levelheadedly. Yep. And what a better time to do it then right now. Ok I know it will take a little while. Ok. Yea he’s good he’s standing right her. You want to talk to him? Ok. Well let me know. I’m ready.

Shane shuts the phone off and hands it to Lance.

Lance. Well. I can see that the conversation turned out ok.

Shane. Let me just say this.

Shane puts his arm around Shane as both men walk out of the room. Fade to black.
