Following a match at an FTR house show, the sound of shattering glass is heard over the PA. As his music plays, Stone Cold Steve Austin marches out from the curtains and enters the ring. He goes to all four corners with his arms raised, and then takes a microphone.
Austin: "I'm gonna make it real short and real sweet.....
Shane Douglas, you ain't no damn Franchise. You're nothing but a bitter little bastard who thinks he is the king of the damn world because he is a former ECW champion. Well son, where the hell did you get in the WWF? Are you gonna claim that Michaels and his crew kept you down? Are you gonna come out here and pussyfoot around the fact that you couldn't handle a real company?
Are you gonna say 'Well I never got my opportunity!'? Well hell Douglas, I was gonna give you a damned opportunity, but I wound up whupping your ass in about seven seconds, and that's just all there was to it. Now you and your little buddy Lance Storm wanna run your mouthes about how Stone Cold was a fraud? Well I think that's a load of crap!
Let me tell you one damn thing, Storm....is it supposed to impress me that Stu Hart trained you? I'll tell you one damned thing..if you bring that old bastard out here right now I'll whup his ass right back to Canada. You wanna claim that Bret made me? I didn't see Bret Hart across the ring when I won the damned World Title. You know who I saw? I saw Shawn Michaels...the guy that ran Bret out of the WWF in the first place. Bret Hart spent the remaining years of his career bitching and whining in some damn newspaper column. Is that your hero, Lance? Are you gonna bitch and whine when Stone Cold whups your ass?
Oh and by the way, Lance..just because you trained in The Dungeon...that don't mean you're half the wrestler Bret Hart WAS. Because I will give him this much....when Bret Hart was at his best..there wasn't a better damned wrestler walking this Earth. But I fought Bret at his best, Lance....and he still couldn't beat me.
But you two...your bring your little asses to Rampage...and you just wait and see what I've got for ya...
