*Midnight in Gothamtropolis, where the skyscrapers form a skyline vaguely similar to the Guerreros' hometown of El Paso. Of course, such resemblance is a coincidence. In any case, we see a silhouette atop one building, backlit by the moon itself. The form, first in crouched position, slowly rises, its cape blowing dramatically behind it in the wind. The camera zooms inward, revealing the shadow to be Chavoman.*
"I must say, I did not expect such stiff competition when I agreed to the match for an Intercontinental shot. At first, I thought the FTRites were going to step away from it, presumably in fear of facing me.
"Then I thought, no, no Chavoman, certainly not. They know you are a respectful and kind gentleman who wouldn't hurt a soul. Thus, I was curious as to the length it took until other stars would sign on. And yet, when finally names appeared to challenge me, I was overwhelmed. Buff Bagwell and Roddy Piper. Surely I should have noticed such wrestling greats joining the FTR, yet I had overlooked it. Such errors will cease.
"Citizen Piper, as you yourself noted, you have been to the top of the wrestling mountain, and it is good. You have held such prestigious titles as the Intercontinental belt in other leagues. However, this is the FTR, where all the finest of wrestling's past, present, and future collide. This is where new legends have been born. And this is where I, strange as it seems, do hold a slight bit more experience than you.
"You see, myself and my partner, Iron-Stevie, as well as our friends Epep and the Scar-lita Witch have been working together to fight for TRUTH, JUST-US, AND THE WRESTLING WAY for a few years now. We have had others on board-as many know, another shall join us at Genesis-but you are a new challenge. I trust that you shall push me to the limits within that ring. However, for no second should you underestimate me, nor shall I you. I hope to see who the better man is in the ring.
"As for you, Citizen Bagwell, I am amazed at your training intensity. Citizen Tazz has truly pushed you hard to become a better wrestler. In the ring, however, is where we shall see who is tougher. As he is trying to teach you, looks do not win matches. Nor do catchphrases. If so, witty models like Rick Martel would have done a lot better. As is, it is STRENGTH, SPEED, ATHLETICISM, and other such factors, factors that perhaps you had ignored.
"Realize these factors, Citizen Bagwell, or our match at Genesis will be sadly short.
"To the rest of the FTR, I URGE one of you to join us in the ring. A four way match cannot occur with just three. I hope another one of you with the will to stand for good and not the Axis of Eddy shall rise up and say 'Yes, Chavoman, I will fight with you to ensure that future IC competitors stand for JUSTICE and not evil.' If you do not, it cannot be guaranteed, and we cannot let the IC belt be corrupted as the World title has.
"That is all for now. Good day."
*Chavoman scoops up a shadowy, stick-horse like figure.*
"Quick Epep! TO THE CHAVOMOBILE!!!!"
*Chavoman grabs something off his Chavobelt, which he fires into an adjacent building to create a zipline. He slides down, crashing painfully into, not through, a window as the camera fades out.*
