Ghetto Shakespeare (rhyno)
Posted by: Booker T on 03/02/2003 at 23:58

You see in ghetto logic, I am perfectly justified in doing what I am about to do.

the eye of the camera opens to a room with just a director’s chair and seated in that chair is the FTR’s intercontinental champion and international captain of leisure Booker T

You see the way it has been since the beginning of time is an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. It’s in the bible, in fact it’s a recurring theme throughout literature. One man is wronged he spends the rest of his life trying to right that wrong. But the cycle of violence always continues. We can take our situation here today and apply to any popular literary fued.

So let’s try Shakespeare, Tybalt The prince of Cats killed Romeo’s best friend mercutio, an act that required vengeance on his part. The part of Tybalt will be played today by the midget Man beast known as rhino, and the indignant act will be the spearing of yours truly into a pile of garbage…

Romeo the righteous hero in his quest for vengeance would be in his right to do whatever it takes to avenge this outrage. So Romeo, today played ironically by the classically trained and ultimately gifted Booker T, prepares to go to battle against his foe in mortal combat to avenge the loss of face.

Is this not the perfect beginning to an epic battle scene in a movie come on. I can recount a thousand such storylines and it makes for great drama.

Booker pauses and looks intently into the camera

The question is Rhyno will it be the epic battle that everyone including myself is hoping for? Will it be one for the ages? Can you elevate yourself above your sad history and step into the glorious world of championship? I doubt it dawg, really I do. Mainly because your nemesis, the tall, dark elegant thug known as booker T, is the truth.

I’m what you aspire to be youngin, the handsome hero, the uncompromising ideal out for vengeance.

Romeo said my vengeance shall be swift on you who slew mercutio, your pleas for mercy fall on deaf ears.
This is my motto coming into Genesis Rhyno…Your pleas for mercy will fall on Deaf ears as we compete in a last man standing match…
