I am game...
Posted by: Kidman on 02/23/2003 at 11:39

Night has fallen, and we open in dark alley way in downtown area of an unknown city. It is here, among scattered rubbish, that we see Billy Kidman perched upon the edge of a dumpster. He is garbed in the normal tatterred attire, wearing torn blue jeans, a black t-shirt with an unrecognizable logo, and a leather jacket.

A crisp breeze stings Kidman's face as it blows his hair in front of his eyes. Here and there snow flakes are spit down from the heavens. Kidman rests his chin in his hands, apparently in deep meditation. He raises his head and brushes the hair away from his face. After seconds of gazing at the blackened sky above, he lets his gaze fall back down to the ground. He speaks, never taking his stare away from the pieces of garbage that are dancing in the wind.

Kidman: "Play time is over, Mortis."

"You have frolicked for too long already in a false sense of success, and at Genesis I will take back what you stole from me. You are no champion, and you sure as hell are no chosen one. Take a look in the mirror. Your patheticism is something that even an imbecil like yourself should be able to recognize."

"So you pinned me at Rampage. Big deal. Flukes happen everyday in the real world. Freak accidents are occuring at this very moment that I am speaking. But you know what they say, lightning NEVER strikes in the same place twice...NEVER!"

"You wish to make this contest a death match? Foolish...you are playing right into my hands. When it comes to demolition, no man can match the skills I possess. At Genesis, this deathmatch will provide me with just the opportunity I need to destroy you and focus the rest of my attentions on that coward of a master you have in the Undertaker."

"The United States title will soon be back around my waist, and with its return will return my quest to dismantle the Fatal Army and everything that the Undertaker stands for. A fire has been lit inside of me, and when you play with a spark, Mortis, it just may ignite into a raging inferno. Be prepared, my friend. Your end as U.S. champion is very, very near."

Kidman looks up and scratches the side of his face with his hand.

Kidman: "That, my friend...is certain."

The scene fades out.
