*We cut to the inside of a fairly professional-looking office, well-kept and extremely organized. Seated before the camera and behind the desk in this office is a mid-40s aged man, balding on top, with thick glasses and a gray suit. His posture is very erect and proper as he begins speaking.*
"Good eve, FTR fans. Of course, you do not know me. I am Winters, a psychologist hired to the FTR staff by Genius IQ to help keep the wrestlers within the boundaries of mental health. Well, to a degree of mental health. In any case, I usually work behind the scenes, of course, as these cases are meant to be private, doctor-patient affairs.
"Unfortunately, my current case is of such importance-and also such severity, that IQ himself has demanded that I come out here to explain it as best I can to you. As you may realize, at last Rampage, Jeff Jarrett, also known as 'The General,' was fortunate enough to obtain a World title shot at Genesis. However, Eduardo Guerrero, the current champion, and his nephew Chavo found a clause that banned Tom Green, Jarrett's manager, from FTR competition for a month.
"Before I go further, I must note that Jarrett also suffered from severe delusions, ranging from being a general to hosting a kid's television show. What we did not know, however, is what was keeping him grounded in reality. Tom Green's presence, it seems, is what kept the General from, for lack of better terminology, 'flying off the handle.' In losing the managerial skills of Tom Green, Jeff lost his best friend and his connection to some form of sanity. Thus, losing Tom has dealt a severe blow to Jeff's sanity.
"He was found 4 days after Rampage wandering about Tampa in a Buccaneers jersey and his boxers, saying repeatedly to himself 'He will return.' Although he will not discuss this 'He' with others, including myself, it can be presumed that this 'He' is, of course, Tom Green. When asked about Eddy, he merely smirks and says, 'He knows what to do. He always did.' Again, it seems to be a reference to Tom.
"The worst reaction, by far, was when I mentioned that Tom would not be at Genesis. He proceeded to throw a chair out the window, yelling 'Stay out of my life' or some such comment. Since then, he has been wandering FTR Headquarters-where we've quarantined him until Genesis-ranting on this 'He' and a variety of other areas.
"We are not permitted to have Tom even speak to Jeff, as this would constitute 'managing' and break the punishment set by IQ. We have tried having Justin Credible and Debra come in to speak to their old friend, but again, this was met with almost no response.
"Personally, my professional opinion is to detain him from competition until his mental state improves. However, as this is not to be permitted by IQ, nor as Jarrett will not cancel his matches, he will still be competing at Genesis in both matches with Eddy Guerrero. I apologize for the way-
*Winters stops, looking offscreen in slight horror. Jeff enters from the right, chuckling to himself as he walks. He is wearing a hospital gown with his camo "General" pants, but both of these are horribly torn up. He looks at Winters and waves.*
Jeff: Good morning, shiny top! How goes the fishing?
Winters: It's evening, Jeff.
Jeff: Sure, just like the sun is purple-in-waiting, right?
Winters: ...I guess so-
Jeff: Of course so! He'd agree, but he's not here right now. Of course, he'll be here next time I see that guy with the mullet.
Winters: Eddy's hair is not a mullet, Jeff. It's-
Jeff: You and your naysaying! I wasn't talking about this "Eddy" or whatever, I meant Captain Crunch! *Shakes his head in disgust* Of all the people I've ever met, you, sir, are one of them.
*Jeff walks out again, now slightly angry. Winters looks on, shaking his head in disbelief as the camera fades out...*
