Aftershock

Tampa, Florida. Rampage has been over for an entire weekend now, and the fans are well past it. They aren't dwelling on the Iron Man match, or why Team Extreme lost to 3 Minute Warning. Nor do they wonder what the motives of the interferers in the main event. The majority only see these issues in relation to how they'll affect Genesis.
Of these issues, however, one is still unresolved. The "Five-Star" General got his rank and lost his leader. He must face many a battle ahead. He must go toe to toe with the man who has wrecked his life, a man in alliance with the Undertaker who has in the past practically ran his life. He must beat this man, Eddy Guerrero, once, but must face him twice.
But more importantly, he must battle his own wits first.
Outside of the arena from Rampage, Jeff Jarrett sits. He is still wearing his battle fatigues, but they are smeared and torn from his mindless wanderings since Rampage. Before him sits the present from IQ, the old Iron Man title belt-stained with blood from who knows what misadventure. He is balled up, his hands holding his knees tight to his chest as he rocks slowly, back and forth, muttering repetively...
"He will be back.....at Genesis, he will be back.....He will be back.....at Genesis he will be back....."
