"I'm Tony Kornheiser, pardon the interruption, but FTR Genesis is coming up. Will you be watching, Michael?"
"Even if IQ paid me not to."
*It's Pardon the Interruption time on ESPN as Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon prepare to dispense opinions on sports. Strangely enough, the FTR is now respected by ESPN...in any case, back to the show.*
Tony: Anyways, we'll start off on our first topic, the Big Dick Dudley Memorial Tournament. To both honor the fallen Dudley and award the Tag Team Titles, IQ has announced this tournament, the second round is underway, Michael, who's gonna get some gold for the big man?
Michael: The name says it all: Big Dick DUDLEY. This is the Dudley Boys' tournament, and anyone who's ever watched the FTR knows it. They're coming in next round, after everyone else has been through some torturous rounds, they're fresh, they're the best team in FTR history, and it's for their own brother. It's just no contest.
Tony: Wilbon, again you are wrong. You know whose return amazed me?
Michael: Whose?
Tony: Chavoman. The Defender of the Innocent. And his partner, Iron-Stevie, was already waiting. These two feed off each other like no team I've ever seen. They're skilled, they're faster than everyone else, and they've beaten "Dose Dem Dudleys."
Michael: And you know who beat them? The DUDLEYS, that's who! That may be the worst pick I have ever heard you make, Kornheiser!
Tony: Really?
Michael: Couldn't you at least go with Edge and Christian? Anyways, next question. Iron Man Title, it's Jeff Jarrett and Chavoman. If the General wins, he's in the Genesis main event against Eddy Guerrero. Your pick?
Tony: I'm sticking with my boy, Chavoman. Here's a guy who, in his FTR return, almost defeated the Big Show. No one has pinned this guy alone, but Chavoman almost became the first. He's the toughest small man in the FTR, and there's no way the General, who thinks he's Mr. Rogers, can beat him.
Michael: You are so wrong here, Tony. Jeff's one of the last FTR vets. He's got experience that Chavoman just doesn't have. He's been this crazy before-and he was on a huge win streak then, too! And if he wins, he gets his "fifth star" and faces the man that nearly ended his career-Eddy! Chavoman needs to get on the Chavomobile and out of the arena.
Tony: Can Jeff beat Big Show?
Michael: They've never-
Tony: NO!
Michael: They haven't even fought!
Tony: Sure. We'll take a break here. Up after the half- Eddy and the Army. What's the situation?
